ATHLETE'S COOKIES
Quinoa
Balls
2 Cups of cooked Quinoa ( Boil 2 cups water to 1 cup
quinoa for 40 min. on low)
1/2 C chocolate chips
2 TBSP Molasses
1/2 Cup any nut butter (peanut, almond, soya, etc.)
1 Cup of your choice of nut ( sesame, almonds, sunflower,
pumpkin) OR healthy cereal such as Kashi Go Lean
Melt chips and nut butter ( I microwave). Stir in
molasses. Add nuts and or cereal. Roll into 1" balls
or press into pan to cut into bars. Chill and enjoy!
A very healthy snack for post workout. Quinoa is a grain
that contains protein, aiding in repair and satisfaction.
