"Run for Your Life"
When you join the Running Maniacs you can jump onto whatever level suits your present needs. As your needs change you move around with the groups to train as you feel comfortable.
Beginner, Starter Learn to Run
Out of shape, in need of some exercise, want to start somewhere, or are not sure which level fits. Our proven learn to run program will start you off with run 1 walk 1 until you run a celebration 5 km run. If you never exercised before or if you were a jock in high school but couch potato since then then this is for you. This is a great way to learn the basics of nutrition, stretching, gear, training.
Intermediate
This group is our most diverse group and consists of runners that want to increase distance, increase their speed or just maintain a level of physical activity that fits there daily routine. Intermediate running varies from 5Km - 25km. We have "options in our runs to cut the run shorter or increase the distance.
Elite or Marathon
If you have run for a while and your goal is a marathon, then this group will take you there. Our group has successfully qualified members for the Boston Marathon. We have focused runners that bring home the hardware in their category and others that just want to run smooth and far. Once again there is no set level for an elite just a desire to go faster and further while staying healthy.
